At The British Green Society, we are dedicated to community train to train promoting sustainable living, holistic wellness, and community engagement. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Domiciliary Health apprenticeship

 

This  focuses on prevention over cure, aligning with our mission to create a brighter, healthier future for those living in the vale of Evesham 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular home visits to assess and support the health and wellness needs of community members.

• Develop and implement personalised wellness plans that emphasise preventive care and holistic approaches.

• Educate individuals and families on sustainable living practices and their impact on health.

• Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, mental health, and lifestyle changes to prevent chronic illnesses.

• Collaborate with local healthcare providers, community organisation’s, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of preventive measures and adjust plans as needed.

• Advocate for community engagement in wellness and sustainability initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

• Relevant healthcare certification or degree (e.g.,hair, health and social care,  nursing, public health, nutrition).

• Experience in domiciliary care or community health roles.

• Strong understanding of guidance and advice, preventive healthcare and holistic wellness practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for sustainable living and community engagement.
